Today I passed the final road test for BC's graduated licensing program. Woohoo! So now I don't have to put the neon green N on the back of the car, and I get a nifty purple license within the next week or so. I was really nervous but my exam was at 9:30am, and it's Victoria, so there was really no one else on the roads with me. I made 3 very minor mistakes: I pulled into a bus lane that I didn't know existed, I stopped on
the stop line instead of before
it, and I was only going 45 down Quadra (a busy-by-Victoria-standards) street instead of 50.
Other than the wonderfully exciting road test, not much has been going on around here. This past weekend we went to Sari's bridal shower in Vancouver. I'm not going back to Vancouver until my next surgeon follow-up appointment so I'll have to entertain myself around Victoria. It's my birthday in 10 days so if anyone actually reads this, send me gifts!
